In our study of premillennialism those who promote that theory say that Jesus is coming again to establish His kingdom.  We've shown in a recent study that His kingdom is already here and has been since Pentecost.  When He comes again it will be for a purpose that the Bible teaches.  How does what the Bible teach compare to the teaching of the Rapture?

1)  HE'S COMING AGAIN BECAUSE HE PROMISED TO
     a.  John 14:1-3
     b.  How do we also know he's coming again?  His apostles, His witnesses, the inspired witnesses said He would. Hebrews 9:28 and 2 Thess 1: 7-10
     c.  How do we know He's coming again?  The angels said He would, "Ye men of Galilee, why standing ye gazing up into heaven?  This same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."

2)  WHEN IS IT GOING TO BE?
     a.  Be careful what you hear!  There isn't a man on earth who knows when that will be! 
     b.  Mark 13:32
 
3)  HOW WILL HE COME?
     a.  Acts 1:9-11 - Jesus will return in like manner that He left.
     b.  Revelation 1:7 Who will see Him?

4)  WHY WILL JESUS COME?  
    a.  1 Thess 4: 16-17
    b.  Simply, the day of preparation will be over

5)  WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
    a.  The dead in Christ will be raised
    b.  ALL the dead will be raised - John 5: 28-29
    c.  Not coming to earth - false teachings
        1.  the teachings of the restoration of the Jewish nation
        2.  His reign on earth - the thousand years - read Revelation 20:1-6 - notice.....
             a.  there is no mention of the second coming -
             b.  there is no mention of a reign on earth
             c.  there is no mention of a literal reign on earth
             d.  there is no mention of a literal throne of David
             e.  there is nothing said about Christ on earth
             f.   there is no refernece to us, Jews or Gentiles, reigning with Christ on earth
   d.  coming to deliver the kingdom to the Father 1 Corinthians 15:24

6)  CERTAINTY OF JUDGMENT
     a.  What is CERTAIN!  Death, the resurrection, eternal life and eternal condemnation are as certain as kife itself!  The second coming of Christ and the judgment are as certain as death!

         2.  The judgment is coming.  All are reserved unto the judgment day!  It's an appointment everyone will keep! 

7)  EXECUTION OF JUDGMENT
     a.  to those who don't know or don't obey?  2 Thess 1:8, John 5:27
     b.  Matt 25:32 and 1 Peter 5:4
