The church of the Lord is completely sufficient to accomplish what is was intended for.

1)  DESIGNED BY DIVINE WISDOM FOR A DIVINE PURPOSE
     A.   We must not deny the sufficiency of the church.  To do so is to deny the wisdom of God. 1Cor 1: 25-31
           Romans 11: 33-36
     B.   Is man wiser than God?  He would have to be to improve upon this arrangement.  That's not possible.
           Jer 10:23, Mt 15: 13-14, Gal 1: 6-8.

2)  AS REVEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT THE CHURCH IN GOD'S PLAN IN SUFFICIENT
     A.  All truth revealed by the Holy Spirit through the apostles - John 14: 26
     B.  All things that pertain to what?  2 Pet 1:3
     C.  What is completely revealed therein?  Rom 1: 16-17  God's Righteousness
     D.  How profitable is it?  2 Tim 3: 14-17  Altogether profitable
     E.  How does man know the mind of God?  1 Cor 2: 10-12  the testimony of the Holy Spirit
     F.  What is found in Christ and His Word?  Col 2: 10  Perfection - Completeness

3)  WHAT SETS FORTH GOD'S WAYS?  DIVINE REVELATION
     A.  Mt 28:20 - "teaching them to observe whatever I've commanded you"
     B.  What did Paul have to say about a perversion of the gospel?  Gal 1: 6-12
     C.  Committing unto faithful men who would teach others to teach - 2 Tim 2:2
     D.  Do NOT go beyond what is written - 1 Cor 4:6, 2 Cor 4:13, 1 Thess 1:6, 2 Thess 3: 6-14

4)  A PERFECT REVELATION CANNOT SET FORTH IMPERFECT WAYS - AN IMPERFECT INSTITUTION
     A.  Rom 11: 33-36

5)  WHAT IS UNDER DIVINE AUTHORITY AND SUPERVISION?  THE FUNCTION OF THE CHURCH
     A.  Christ is the HEAD  Eph 1: 21-23
     B.  Just as no part of the human body can function properly with out the brain, so the church cannot
          function properly without the authority of Jesus Christ  Rom 12: 3-6
     C.  God has arranged the body to please Him - each member is to perform his finction according to
           God's instructions, by faith.  2 Cor 5:7, 1 Cor 12: 12-13. 1 Cor 12: 24-28

6)  GOD DESIGNED IT, CHRIST BUILT IT AND THE HOLY SPIRIT REVEALED IT.  THE BEST WAY!
     A.  Jer 10:23, Pro 16:25, Isa 55: 8-9, Deu 8:6; 26:17; 28:9; 30:16
     B.  God's ways are best because He knows best
     C.  His ways are best because He can see the end of the way
     D.  He is always guided by His love for us and our good in choosing them for us
     E.  His ways are best because they always serve His purpose

CONCLUSION:   Remember that the church is a divine tabernacle that the Lord has pitched and not man.  God
                          is the divine architect and Christ is the builder.  It's the fulfillment of God's eternal purpose.
                          Christ promised to build it; He did, and it's in existence today.
