1.  The Whole Armor of God.  Ephesians 6: 10-17.  We are going to discuss in the lesson how to use the "sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

A.  Question: Do we know how to use our sword?

     1.  The first step in using the sword is to know and teach the truth.  John 8:31
     2.  Using the word of God by showing three wrongs in the Catholic Doctrine, no such thing as a Pope, Matthew 16: 13-20.  The doctrine of Mary being "ever Virgin" Matthew 13: 53-56, and the doctrine of Transubstantiation, Matthew 26: 26-29.

B.  Jesus brought the sword to us. Matthew 10: 34-39
     1.  Example of how Jesus used the Sword against Satan.  Matthew 4: 3-10

C.  How we start in training to use the Sword of the Spirit.  2 Timothy 3: 14-17

D.  Why it is so important to know how to use the Sword.  2 Timothy 3: 1-9

Conclusion:  If you want to be a good soldier you have to constantly be prepared for a good fight.  To fight you have to know how to use your weapon.  I can find no other weapon as user friendly as God's Word.  I hope this lesson is an encouragemet to you all to study.
