A.  We all know what an endangered species is.  It is a breed of animal that is in danger of becoming non-existent in the near future.
     1. I want to make a spiritual application of some other "creatures" that God made that are disappearing in the near future.
     2. When our nation first came about it was founded upon Bible laws and principles.  However, for the most part, for the last several decades, we have, for the most part, lost that title.
     3.  It is because of the diminished numbers of certain Species.
B.  We will check out 3 of them: 1. the father 2. the mother 3. the child
C.  The father:
      Hebrews 11:1
      Genesis 3: 8-9- From the beginning of centuries, God seems to have communicated to the head of families.
D.  The Roles of the father
     1.  I Cor 11:3
     2. 1 Tim 3: 4-5, 12  a father has to have his children in subjection to him.
     3. Eph 6: 4
     4. Col 3:21
      The father is to admonish or encourage a child but not be discouraging. The father is to be the role model.
     5. A good father helps his wife - 1 Cor 7:3
     6. Eph 5:28-29 - If a man truly loves his wife, he will treat her likes he treats his own body. That is with respect, kindness and love.
     7. 1Tim 5:8
E.  The Mother
     1.  Respects her husband - Eph 5:33
     2.  Genesis 2:18 - God in fact made woman so that Adam would not be alone and had a helper to help him.
     3.  She fulfills a role - Titus 2:4-5 she is responsible for keeping the home stable and to be obedient to God's Word.
     4.  To be a mother is a gift from God - Psalm 127:3
     5.  Genesis 1:4
     6.  John 16:21, Luke 1_ 26-28, Luke 2:51-52, John 19:26-27, Acts 1: 14
     7.  2 Tim 1: 5 - Here we see two examples of mothers in succeeding generations, who passed down not only motherhood, but their Godly virtues.
     8.  Proverbs 31: 10-31 - This is how a mother should be.
F.  The Child
     1.  Exodus 20: 12, Ephesians 6: 1-3, 1 Tim 5: 1-2, Proverbs 29:15
     2.  Titus 1:6 - If a child is not corrected when he is young he may end up having all kinds of problems.
     3.  Luke 18: 16-17 to observe a child in public today they are not the species we are looking for.  Some do not obey parents at all, and this is due to a lack of parental and societal training.

In Conclusion, we need to do everything we can to promote the well being of these species!
