THERE'S AN EYE WATCHING YOU!  3/4/07

It's been said that many cities in the world now have an amazing number of cameras monitoring the movements of people for security reasons.  In fact, in numerous large cities, a person can be viewed many thousands of times a day.  In Broward County, Florida nearly every major intersection has overhead cameras near traffic lights to view vehicles coming from any direction.  Many more are mounted on major roads and buildings. 
Software has even been developed to match a person's walking style, or gait, with those of known criminals or terrorists.  Nearly every store, bank and office building has cameras.  In spite of all this technology people still try to hide .  Yet, in spite of all the surveillance, people often forget that there is One who watches every move we make and from Him we can never hide or escape His power...

  Psalm 139: 1 - 12
    a.  David gives a very in depth account of the Lord's infinite knowledge and existence.
     b.  vs 2 -   Shows the completeness of the knowledge of God Proverbs 15: 3
     c.  vs 3 -   God is the Master of all situations
     d.  vs 4 -   God knows his thoughts and everything that proceeds from David's mouth.
     e.  vs 5 -   David knew his entire life was within the knowledge and grasp of the Lord. I Chronicles 28: 9
     f.   vs 6 -   David is just a human being
     g.  vs 7 -   Since God made everything where could someone hide?  Jeremiah 23: 3 -4; Revelation 6: 15 - 17
     h. vs 8 -   God has complete oversight over all realms
      i.  vs 9 -   Even the vast expanse of the sea is not out of God's reach
      j.  vs 10 - Shows the Universal ability of God to take care of his children.
     k.  vs.11 - Man can't count on the darkness.
      l.  vs.12 - To the Lord it's all the same

      a.  Jesus understood the hearts of those in His day and those today.
      b.  Matthew 9: 1 -4
      c.  Revelation 2: 23

3)  Amos
    a.  This prophet reveals much about the the power and knowledge of Jehovah.
           1.  chapters 1 and 2 reveal that God holds people accountable (discuss)4
           2. Who made everthing?
4: 13;  5: 8
           3.  Again, He's everywhere!  9: 2 - 4
           4.  Complete power is His - Daniel 2, 4, 5

4)  Ephesians 4: 1 - 6
   
a. Christians are encouraged to continue to walk worthily..Why?
     b. The "ones"
